Olive Squalane

Our synthetic squalane is derived from sugar cane, a sustainable material. It is lighter than olive-derived squalane. Its non-greasy skin feels and non-comedogenic, excellent stability make it very special for oily and/or acne-prone skin types. It provides extra moisturizing and conditioning properties to the finished product. 

Squalene is found naturally in human skin's sebum and is widely used as a conditioner, emollient, cleansing oil, and carrier oil in cosmetic formulations. It is easy to emulsify and chemically inert but soluble in most cosmetic oils, including cyclomethicone. It is an elegant emollient with exceptional spreading properties and skin absorption that can be used in emulsions, balms, facial oil treatment serums, and massage oils or as a carrier for essential oils.
