Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is a stable, lipid-soluble vitamin C derivative with high efficacy in anti-aging, skin brightening, and antioxidant skin benefits. While Ascorbic acid has difficulties penetrating the skin, this vitamin C penetrates the skin much more easily and deeply to provide long-lasting anti-aging, skin lightening, and skin protection benefits. It promotes collagen synthesis and other ECM components to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and keep the skin supple and radiant.
Our THA50 has 50% of tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate with 50% of ethoxydiglycol as a skin penetration enhancement.
Best of all, it is gentle on the skin, with virtually no irritation or "yellowing" side effects. It is suited for all skin types.
Unlike L-ascorbic acid, it will not exfoliate the skin and does not increase sun sensitivities.
