It is a clinically proven ingredient that stimulates Aquaporin-3, Tight Junction, Desmosomes, and Epidermal Differentiating genes/proteins to normalize cellular bioactivities.
Isosorbide Dicaprylate has clinically shown to be very effective in providing long-lasting (>48 hrs.) and controlled skin hydration. This quality is hard to find in other skincare ingredients.
In hair care, Hydra Synol® DOI can be used as a natural and biodegradable alternative to phenyl dimethicone to maximize hair shine.
Beyond its active ingredient properties, it provides a great skin feel and is an excellent solubilizer for pigments and UV filters.
