Our technical team and our partner lab have modified cysteamine HCl to limit the odor to almost nothing. This serum is formulated and stabilized with its perfect companion ingredients, niacinamide and PHA, for extraordinary visible skin brightening and dark spot/patch fading.  No obvious bad odor is detectable by our noses after 1 year testing.

How to use: 

Apply 2-3 drops of this serum evenly to dry skin, and leave it on for 15 minutes before washing it off, followed by a good moisturizer. 

Do not use this product with retinoids, acid, or exfoliant at the same time. You can use retinoids in the morning and cysteamine serum in the evening. 

For stubborn hyperpigmentation issues, use our 10% tranexamic acid serum/moisturizer in the morning and evening for better results.

-- This product can be applied at any time of year, regardless of the intensity of sunlight. It is suitable for all skin types. 

-- This serum is applied to darkened skin on the face and neck once daily. It is washed off after 15 minutes using tepid water. After drying the skin, a good moisturizer is applied. 

1. Although skin irritation is rare, it can happen, especially for sensitive skin types. It can cause dryness, redness, and a mild burning sensation. A good moisturizer helps to reduce the symptoms.
2. For sensitive skin types, start with 5 minutes of leave-on time before washing. After 2-3 weeks, if your skin can tolerate it, the leave-on time can be gradually extended to 15 minutes. 
3. A reduction in pigmentation can be visible after 6 weeks.
4. Optimal results can be obtained after 8-12 weeks.
5. Sunscreen should continue to be used year-round.

To maintain its effects, cysteamine serum should be continued twice weekly indefinitely.

Warning: 

a. A skin test is required before using this product. Do not use it if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this product.

b. After applying, a temporary mild burning, warm sensation, or redness may occur, which usually disappears within 30 minutes. If those sensations last more than 30 minutes, wash the skin well with a mild cleanser. After the skin returns to normal, restart this product with a slower process to give the skin a more extended period of time to get used to this product. Seek medical help if symptoms are persistent or an allergic reaction occurs.

c. No study has been performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use it. If you have health issues, please consult healthcare professionals to determine if this product suits you.

d. Cysteamine serum should not be used by anyone with a personal or family history of depigmenting disorder, such as vitiligo.

Important Note:

Skin-lightening products should be used with sunscreen. Besides major skin aging factors, UV light and HEV are the strongest pigment promoters, and no skin-brightening product is strong enough to counteract their negative influences on skin tone and hyperpigmentation.
