Retinyl Acetate is an ester and stable form of retinol with reduced skin irritation. It has a much better bioavailability and less skin irritation than retinol. It is also used for the management of problematic skin issues, such as acne, 

Properties in skincare:

In skin care, Retinyl acetate is mainly used to improve all signs of skin aging, such as wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, sagging, and loose skin issues, through:

1. Accelerate skin metabolism and skin cell turnover rate.
2. Promote cell proliferation
3. Stimulate collagen production
4. Stimulate other matrix synthesis, such as hyaluronic acid and proteins 
5. Antioxidative property
6. Balancing sebum production
7. Antimicrobial properties

Specification:

1. Appearance: Light yellow fine powder/crystal
2. Soluble in oil and ethanol; insoluble in water.
3. Acid Value: ≤2.0
4. Recommended Usage: 0.1-1%

Storage: Store at room temperature in a dry, dark, and well-ventilated place away from light and heat. Keep the container tightly closed.
