Arbutin is a strong tyrosinase inhibitor used as a skin-brightening agent in cosmetic products. Among all types of arbutin, Alpha-arbutin is the most stable form. 

It is water-soluble and easily incorporated into the water phase of your formulations. Add it at a temperature ≤40°C. 

Recommended usage: 0.2-2%.
Solubility: Water-soluble, slightly soluble in Ethanol
pH (1%): 5.0-7.0
Add to the water phase at a temperature ≤40°C
